| Description | Habitat: Various types of moist soils in open areas, ditches, low areas and disturbed sites; considered a weed. Plant: Annual with erect to spreading stems, 2 to 24 inches tall; stems branching above and have grooves. Leaves: Pinnately-divided 3 or 4 times into linear-filiform segments, each about 3/4-inch long; overall up to 4 inches long and 3 inches across. Inflorescence: Many very small flowers in simple or compound umbels; each flower is only 1 to 2 mm across when fully open, and has 3 to 5 white petals and 5 stamens. Bloom Period: March to June.
